S1E1 0:12:18 Three Jokerz goons are launched from a two story building, flying at least fourteen feet away before all crashing into a single Fitch Barrier. However, if you look at it, its the bike that hits the barrier, that water barrel isn't saving goddamn anyone. Two of them look like they are even going to fall on their fucking head. Two of these dudes are totally street pizza.
S1E1 0:17:20 Terry learns that his dad has been murdered.
Death toll after S1E1: 3
S1E2 0:08:00 Confirmed death of Harry, a Wayne-Powers employee exposed to a new type of nerve gas in the previous episode.
S1E2 0:18:20 We see the Hover Transport sink to the bottom of the river/ocean (I dunno, its deep as shit). I will mock up the hover transport as the future equivalent of a cargo plane and the last time (lazy Googling) one of those crashed it killed seven people. With that, we will say that a crew of seven died a watery grave as well as Mr. Fixx (he was not crew, explicitly told to get on board and defend it from Batman).
So long, Mr. Takei |
Death toll after S1E2: 12
S1E3 0:02:09 One of two buildings which are part of a Foxteca enterprise explodes. Never fully stated what the building manufactured or did but due to the armed guards and such, I am guessing a weapons factory. My lazy, half-hearted Googling showed that a munitions plant can have 1500 employees. Okay. So two buildings means 750 employees each (that actually sounds solid because just in my screen shot I can count 120 windows). Its a night shift so, we will send 2/3 home. By screen shot count and laziness, I surmise the building that exploded has twelve floors. So let us say that there are eighteen, give or take a couple, employees on each floor on a night shift for the building that explodes. Ten of those floors blow instantly and I counted at least sixteen people outside. So, let us say that 160 people died instantly.
S1E3 0:10:32 A crane falls on an oil tanker type of thing, which then fucking explodes. More lazy Googling reports that twenty-four people could be working on an oil tanker. However, its night time and its docked, so lets say a skeleton crew of six are cleaning and maintaining the beast. Additionally the dock worker that 'luckily' dodged the falling crane is never seen running off the ship or into the water. He is dead as fuck.
Yes! I am invincible! |
That big piece in the upper right? Totally heading for your best bud. |
Death toll after S1E3: 182
S1E4 0:11:38 Point of Interest: the Jokerz make a return with only three members and an earlier scene shows the leader in a police department making four. In the first episode there were seven, this confirms the three that took a plunge in S1E1 are indeed MIA (two dead, one hospitalized.
S1E4 0:16 I count twenty-two people leaping into the water to escape a rampaging robot. The CDC says that 37% of American adults cannot swim. However humans tend to beat statistics all the time in the name of survival so I will say that only six drowned.
Death toll after S1E4: 188
Alright folks, in just four episodes I feel safe in saying that at least 188 citizens of Gotham City have bit the dust.
Most dangerous criminal thus far: Inque and her love for industrial murdersplosions from S1E3.
Saddest death so far: The dockworker that dodged a fucking crane only to be immolated.
Stay tuned, there are forty-eight episodes left! We are just getting started with the atrocities in Gotham City! See you guys next time!
