The off-screen deaths in: Batman Beyond, Part Eleven

S3E3 0:08:30 Interesting note. We learn that Inque has a daughter. Weird.

S3E3 0:15:00 Interesting note. Its brought to Terry's attention that Dana hasn't been getting mad at Terry when he bails on her in order to work for Mr. Wayne because Dana has figured that Terry just needs a father figure in his life and that Bruce has filled this role. Terry admits that she may not be far off the mark. Neat seeing how much the relationship between Terry and Bruce has grown.

S3E4 0:01:11 Interesting note. Hey look, its the same place where two Jokerz plummeted to their death in the very first episode!

S3E4 0:07:16 Interesting note. We are finally learning more and more about Terry's criminal past. After running into an old friend, Big Time, who is fresh from prison we learn that the only reason Terry dodged jail time was because he was underage.

S3E4 0:16:28 Interesting note. We finally learn just what Terry did...and it isn't all that exciting. He did ninety days in Juvenile Hall for breaking and entering when he was fourteen.

S3E4 0:19:04 Karros swipes at Batman, misses and hacks through the floor of the balcony they are fighting on. The edge of the balcony then breaks off, sending Karros plummeting off the skyscraper. Batman, again, forgets that he is not supposed to let these things happen and listens as the man screams and screams and screams and splats. (At the end of the episode when news report says that he is being moved to County General, they mean the morgue. This dude fuckin' fell off of a skyscraper. He is dead as hell).
"Fuck yeah, my Wolverine throwback is so fucking cool."
"Oh fuck! My Wolverine throwback has failed me hilariously!"

"This is pant-shitting terrifying but I bet Batman won't let me fall..."
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

S3E5 Interesting note. Throughout this entire episode we are bombarded with references to all sorts of characters linked to the Batman and DC Comics universe. These sorts of references are already well documented all over the place and it is not the purpose of this blog to catch every wink and nod. However, I will point out (due to it carrying continuity weight in Batman Beyond) that it is confirmed that Bruce and Barbara Godon were once romantically involved (0:03:13).

S3E5 0:04:30 Interesting note. Terry mentions that the last time Bruce faced off against Ra's al Ghul was during something called the Near Apocalypse of'09. Hmm, I wonder if we will learn more about this event.

S3E5 0:12:50 Interesting note. Its really awesome to see Bruce and Terry fighting side by side.
Just...just look at how fucking awesome this is.
S3E5 0:19:28 Talia/Ra's' fortress explodes with Talia/Ra's and a goon still inside.
This guy. Last seen being interrogated by Terry. Presumed to be knocked unconscious and left behind.

S3E6 Nothing to write home about with this episode. This of course doesn't mean its a bad episode, it just doesn't add any bodies or interesting notes to this blog. Just the kind of neat story of Terry teaming up with a super smart, talking gorilla to take down a band of poachers that had initially stolen the gorilla's mother. But anyways...

And just like that we are four episodes closer to the series finale of Batman Beyond. Once again I apologize for the shorter post, but these later episodes are really making it tough on me! Hopefully the last handful of episodes will go out with a bang. Otherwise, I will have them all knocked out in a hurry. Until next time!
